Chocolate Moments is a boutique chocolate shop which has been operating in Brisbane for over 10 years. Heather and Gerrard Gosens, the brains behind Chocolate Moments may sound familiar to you. Gerrard has received an OAM and represented Australia in the Paralympics several times, and is known to be accompanied by a chocolate lab in his chocolate lab. Yes, Gerrard the chocolate maker is blind!
Heather and Gerrard approached us as their flagship chocolate shop on Albert Street was closed for renovations and was relocated to a pop-up shop in the Brisbane Arcade. To bolster their sales with their iconic store out of action and future-proof the business, Heather and Gerrard needed an ecommerce store to get their beloved chocolates out into the world.
The Chocolate Moments website was almost as old as the brand itself, so we were tasked with creating a brand new site with a fresh, modern look that encapsulates the luxurious experience that is indulging in a chocolate moment.
We ran a four-week social media campaign during the website’s development to keep the audience engaged and to ensure sales continued despite the lack of foot traffic. By the time the website launched, it featured a beautiful Instagram widget featuring cohesive, branded posts.
We also created an absolutely delectable video to feature on their website and social media showcasing their very popular ‘Chocolate First Aid Kit’, which contains a variety of chocolate treats all labelled with fun puns sure to brighten anyone’s day.
The result was a mouth-watering website that beautifully showcases the incredible Chocolate Moments inventory. What’s more, the website’s launch was perfectly timed with Mother’s Day so Chocolate Moments was able to make the most out of this chocolate-centric event.
