Our team is made up of uniquely talented individuals who work both internally and as part of a wider network. This approach to business allows us to provide a full range of bespoke marketing services that get results without breaking the bank.
Kerri launched Focused Marketing in 2006. Prior to that she spent eight years working as a highly successful tender writer and marketing specialist in London and Sydney.
Kerri’s ability to get inside the mind of a business has seen her win contracts with some of the largest companies in Australia. That’s because her processes are strategic, highly organised and distinctly ‘outside-the-box’.
Kerri is a member of the Corporate Institute of Marketing and the Australian Marketing Institute and is better at relationship building than E-Harmony.
She is also a wizard at rounding up creative and slightly eccentric marketing professionals, who she manages with a carrot shaped stick and a lot of encouragement.
Kerri has a secret obsession with comic books and has an irrational fear of Santa Claus.
Kristie is a strategic marketing director with over 20 years’ experience in marketing, business development, branding, bids and tenders and communication strategies. Her expertise is in developing and implementing effective holistic marketing campaigns that drive business growth, client loyalty and staff engagement across a range of industry sectors, in particular professional services, non-profit and creative industries.
Kristie has developed all main components of marketing – from establishing the marketing function, building the brand, media and advertising campaigns, profiling raising programs (through sponsorships and strategic partnerships) to client relationship management programs. Along the way, she has developed organisations’ internal capabilities (people and systems), to ensure marketing can be applied by everyone, not just a core few in a central group.
Kristie believes that no marketing, brand, communications or digital strategy can work or exist without a defined business strategy. She has previously worked with leadership teams to help articulate the vision, supported by measurable objectives that can be actioned across marketing, brand, clients and communications. Degree qualified in law she is also focused on ensuring that any marketing and business development efforts improve a business’ financial position.
Kristie enjoys engaging in lively debate, loves logic, focuses on achieving results, takes the risks and gives the credit, puts her energy and effort into what counts most and believes passionately that humour is your best friend.
Kristie has a very public passion for theatre and is well known for bringing others along for the ride.
Sandy brings a wealth of marketing and communications experience together with an extensive range of event management and public relations ‘moments’ to the team.
Sandy will manage your projects and campaigns, bringing your wonderful ideas to life by writing content, providing concepts and proofing it all to perfection.
Sandy grew up in regional Queensland and was a full-time ballet teacher for a number of years, before embarking on raising two gorgeous humans with her hubby. It’s worth mentioning that all of this has been done under the careful watch of their Chihuahua, Murphy.

Dianne is a journalist and public relations professional with 30 years’ experience in media management and communications. She has held senior positions within the public and private sectors as well as the not-for-profit sector and has worked with a broad range of industry groups including professional services, mining and resources, agriculture, engineering and technical, building and construction, vocational education and the tertiary education/university sector.
Her high-level written and inter-personal communication skills are matched with an ability to think strategically, understand the audience and interpret and relate highly technical or complex material into plain-English.
Di believes you are never too old to learn new tricks, which is why she is taking up polo (and praying she doesn’t come off her horse – again – as she doesn’t bounce like she used to)!
Kasey can make anything happen. As our all-round admin guru with over eight years experience, she ensures our office runs smoothly and she can create magic at a moments notice.
This magic often comes from her unique combination of creative flair and a passion for all things formatting and consistency related. She genuinely enjoys creating ‘Policies and Procedures’ documents. Crazy…we know!
On the days she is not in the office, Kasey is a digital artist and fabric designer! She is also a self-published author and illustrator with several books to her name.
Al started out in advertising/TV in Canberra and says that joining Focused Marketing really has made her feel like she’s returned home; back to her roots. After managing and marketing her own Image Management business for over ten years, she’s excited to utilise her keen eye for detail and love of helping people by making sure the wheels turn smoothly when Kasey, our other admin-guru, isn’t in the office.
An unintended ambassador for invisible disability, when she’s not in hospital (and even when she is) she’s helping others learn how to make the best of what they’ve got and understand the power of first impressions.
Answers to “Big Al”, “Al” or “Ali” – take your pick. Only called “Alison” when she’s in trouble.
An animal nut with a wicked sense of humour, on the days she’s not in the office, Al loves watercolour painting, cooking, writing, and styling anything that crosses her path.
Breanna is a fresh addition to Focused Marketing in 2019 after graduating from her Creative Industries degree at QUT. Breanna’s passion lies in digital marketing, but she also has a flair for media and advertising campaigns, integrated marketing communications and consumer behaviour.
A strong believer in the power of positive thinking, she brings a fierce, ambitious attitude to the team and is now eagerly applying her academic knowledge to practical campaigns.
Breanna is a coffee fanatic and has a love for dance and all things performing arts.
